Equine Acupressure Clinic - Orange Park, FL

Join us for an enlightening afternoon of equine wellness to learn from a Nationally Certified Acupressure Practitioner from Poll to Pastern to the Clay Maverick Saddle Club on November 5th. Please bring your horse along, as this is a hands-on experience where we will delve into the art of acupressure.  We encourage pairs to work together, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment, so invite your friends to join!

Discover the myriad benefits of acupressure for your equine companion, from preventive care to complementary therapy for conditions such as colic, inflammation, stomach ulcers, UTIs, arthritis, and much more. We'll explore how acupressure can address issues like poll tension, hindquarter stiffness, heaves, allergies, spookiness, wobblers, cushings, diarrhea, and even spontaneous sweating.

Our immersive clinic, spanning approximately 3-4 hours, will commence with a foundational understanding of acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine. You'll gain insights into the diverse advantages of specific acupressure points for your horse's well-being. Learn the art of locating these points, master the techniques of applying pressure, the ideal pressure level, and understand the key indicators during an acupressure session with your horse. Our expert instructor will guide you through a demonstration of point locations, and then it's your turn to put your newfound knowledge into practice as you work in pairs on a horse. Rest assured, your instructor will be by your side throughout, ready to address any queries or concerns. 

To enhance your learning experience, we will provide you with a folder containing an equine skeleton sheet and details of the discussed points. While the sheet has some space for notes, feel free to bring additional paper for comprehensive note-taking. Don't forget to bring a chair for the first portion! Light snacks and drinks provided.
